At Tiny Town, our preschool program is for children between
the ages of 3 and 5. Following a developmental age appropriate approach, it is
designed to aid in the physical, mental, and social development of your
preschooler.

 Preschool activities emphasizing interaction, learning,
and socialization skills over “babysitting.”

Certified preschool teachers – using the Letter People
Curriculum

Adult to child ratio: 1:10.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 3 snacks daily.

Development of prekindergarten skills, including computer
skills.

Safe facility with “buzz in – buzz out” security
doors.

Both free playtime and many adult generated activities.

Cap and Gown Graduation Ceremony for the entire family.

The Tiny Town Child Care Experience
Tiny Town is proud to be one of the few area daycare
facilities that has earned a 4 Star Rating in Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS

We have fun, early learning stations offering
activities ranging from playing with blocks and a pretend kitchen to science,
computer skills, and math learning stations. There are indoor balance beams for
developing large motor skills and puzzles and other manipulate-able items for
small motor skills.
Each center uses a developmental approach, allowing
children to grow at their own rate of speed while engaging in age appropriate
activities.
At Tiny Town Child Care Center, toddlers,
preschoolers, and school age children enjoy separate rooms with children their
own age. However we make certain brothers and sisters can see and interact with
one another at various times throughout the day. We believe this contributes to
the children’s sense of safety and well-being.
All meals and snacks are included. Nutritious meals
include vegetable, fruit, bread, meat, and milk. Snacks include crackers,
cheese, and 100% fruit juice.

Pre-K Counts
Tiny Town Child Care Center participates in the Pennsylvania Pre-K
Counts pre-kindergarten program. This FREE program was established by
the Pennsylvania Department of Education to help make quality
pre-kindergarten opportunities available to children and families across
the Commonwealth.

Transitioning to Kindergarten
At Tiny Town Childcare Center, we work with local kindergarten
teachers, arranging for meeting time directly with parents and their
children.
Those children going to kindergarten are able to tour their new
school to see what it is like and gain familiarity.
We don’t know of anyone else who offers this service! Our transition
teams also meet with kindergarten teachers and principals in order to
help students transition from preschool to kindergarten.
In addition, we sponsor parent teacher conferences and recommend
needed services for the children.
